I'm looking for opinions from anyone that tracks their car and has installed the ford performance gt 350 sway bar kit M-5490-E or gt 350 sway bar and spring kit M-5490-G. Let me know what you think...noticeable difference?

It sure would be nice if Ford Performance would put some details about the sway bars in that kit on the description.....

I'm putting on the Ford Racing springs and R rear sway bar, but my next track day isn't until Nov. Plan on installing the sway bar this weekend and the springs soon.

Well it is about non-stock springs and sway bars regardless if they're FR or not. We don't have many offerings out there so I'm sure as far as info goes, people will take what they can get.

He's mentioning R swaybar, not the Ford performance model. That's what I was saying.

There's a big thread about just the springs already.

I didn't know they were available yet. I'm still waiting for my dealer to call me as I'm on the list to pick them up as soon as they come in. I was told to expect them around the end of September.

I emailed Ford Performance about the sway bar kit to see if I could get some specs on them, and this is all I got :frusty: .........

Following. I'm interested in going with the FP Sway Bars to compliment my FP springs as well. According to FP, they'll be showing up sometime next week.

I'm interested in what people get for results. I have not tracked this car yet, but from other reviews (Motor Trend and others) the 350 (non R) has a bit of understeer. A beefier front sway bar could cure that.

Someone posted up in the thread about installing an R rear sway bar? Why? Assuming the R rear swaybar is stiffer than the non-R, I wouldn't do that. If it's less stiff, then sure.

I like to disassemble things.

Among other changes that could be made, if the car pushes (front understeer), you'd want a softer front bar - not stiffer. You could also makes changes to the rear bar which you'd want to be stiffer.

Filip has a great guide to setup here.

Ordered the FP GT350 sway bar kit earlier today. I should have it on the car mid next week.

So these new Ford Perf GT350 sway bars are now available and where can a I get a set? I contacted Ford racing a few weeks and they said they were not available yet.
