I very much live in a podunk town, but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the reference being made here.

And for what it's worth....I get compliments pretty regularly on my 94 ranger around town, but no one has ever said a word to me about my car. I guess the truck is more attainable. The mustang might as well be a Ferrari in my redneck part of town. Something this "exotic" is out of reach and out of mind for the locals I guess.

That one got me yesterday. Smacked a piece of concrete or something that was laying in my lane. Thankfully the tire was the only casualty.

I don't know if it is the same flock or group and they are just trolling me now at this point or what, but few of the back roads I'm on, regardless of time of day, always a few birds or squirrels lollygagging on the roads. One would think I'd learn to just stay the course and let mother nature sort it out...but not. I always swerve. One day it is going to end up bad.
