Hi there Aussie owners:)....

Whinging Pom here with a question:D

Do any of you guys know, if the Xforce long tube headers will match up to an after market cat back...??

My car has a Borla touring cat back, and I'm interested in fitting the headers, but I don't want to fork out for another cat back system...

I've messaged Xforce in Aus but they haven't responded:mad:

Good question, I'm not 100% sure but I could give Xforce a ring for you, given it's only a local call for me :-)

I know some headers will only fit certain catbacks, that said any exhaust shop should be able to do some custom fab work to make up some pipes to connect them together

Thanks... would appreciate that Phil:thumbsup:

Actually, I suppose the question should be, will the LTHers fit to a standard system?? If so, then I suspect they'll fit aftermarket cat backs, because the join is in the same place for catback, and standard:D

Just spoke them, no they don't up to the standard exhaust, it would have to be modified

Hope that helps!

I think you will find most headers won't fit up to a catback that isn't designed for it. That's why I went for catback first but for a system which had headers and cars designed for it so it would be an easy upgrade

Are you sure about Kooks? I thought they were still being tested on the RHD.

Didn't know BBK existed for us

When I asked about pricing for Kooks I was told $4300 for LT Green cats. (Supply only)

For nearly half the cost of some supercharging systems installed. I really hope that changes

I just received an email from my dealer covering a range of performance accessories all covered under warranty. Includes an exhaust system that appears to be the Ford Performance cat back (pic is a little small to be certain but I'm 90% sure) fitted for $3584

Do they leave the lube in the car afterwards? :headbonk:

I meant to post that in the Aussie Exhausts thread. Too many tabs open.

Hey, I didn't say it was a good deal  There's also the track handling pack for $4130 or just lowering springs for $1260 (that's my favourite). Others as well but I won't clutter up the wrong thread further.
