I live south of Atlanta and plan on doing an E85 setup here in the next few weeks. I have however been looking into the new 2018 manifold swap.

Anyone else have any results? The gains look good but it's still hard to judge with such a small data pool.

dont forget the safety of octane. Pump suks, period.

ok even if it is a wash(which it isn't, I ran the numbers) its still a grand MINIMUM up front costs thats if you do the install yourself for a new fuel system. A good Fore system is going to run you $2k plus install. Dollar for dollar still good value but so is a $300 intake even if it gains you 20hp.

Read understood and fact remains. Dollar per HP is not the only factor. Obviously availability matters. It’s not a tit for tat. Something else to consider. It was for those reading the posts in similar situations. As I have a 350 and the 2018 has a higher compression, albeit with some DI, octane and lower combustion temps should be given careful consideration for those with access.

I would like to see results from a owner car that is not associated with a shop. It seems too good to be true. I would love to have more HP but only if it equates to faster times in the 1/4.

Agree, right now only results are from a vendor.

I just placed an order for my 2018 intake to go on my Paxton supercharged 2018. I will let you know how it fits and how much HP it adds when I get the tune nailed. Hopefully I will see some gains in the 1/4.

I am going to take you out with the 3.6 stock intake and E85. I might even give you the brake. That 1.3 60 is going to hurt your feelings LOL.
