because "Digress" is my middle name, I'd personally just buy a Charger if I wanted a V8 sedan.
That's probably a good choice. The only sedan I've seen recently that I lust after is the Giulia from Alfa Romeo. Also the only 6 cylinder with the possible exception of some Porsches that actually sounds decent.

they've gotten 400whp from the Stinger with no tuning just bolt-ons i believe.

major issue for me is the packaging. you cant get LSD in RWD unless you buy a GT2 or a limited edition yellow base GT...WTF.
This was explained in a video on YouTube. The LSD, unlike all of the other parts for the car, is not produced in house and has been sourced from GNK automotive, the same company that makes drivetrain parts for the Focus RS and the Nissan GTR. The issue isn't whether they want to offer it, it's supply. Once they can increase supply of this hand built part they want to make it standard on all V6 cars.

I wish they would have named it The Shocker. Introducing the Kia SHOCKER logo...

Not sure if anyone mentioned already, but I did test drive the Stinger. Power comes on quickly and was pretty impressive, plus they officially run on 87 octane. I think it will be a popular car after the first leases expire and used Stingers start showing up.

Looked at and sat in one at the Auto Show. Nice inside but I can't get past the GOD AWFUL roof line in the rear. Looks like some type of sport cross. UGLY!!!! Then I looked at the price tag. IT'S A KIA NO WAY EVER WOULD I PAY THAT. JUST FOR THE SIMPLE FACT ITS STILL A KIA.

It was for fun, so you guys need to get over it.
That said, it was not hard, as my opinion is the
entire cars styling is riced up (or just flat out ugly,
like headlights), just to be different for the sake of being
different. I guess when you are trying to break into a market,
you need to get noticed (good or bad, just need the buzz).

I do love the fact of the 4dr/AWD/hatchback combo.
Thing is still way over priced compared to a Fusion Sport though
(cheapest one within 200 miles for me is $39K, and that
is not AWD, where you can get a Sport for $25-26K easy)
but I guess eventually it will come down in price.

Well, the comparison was kind of stupid to begin with.

18 Mustang:

Cheaper.
Faster.
1000 times better looking.
Will still be desirable 15 years from now.
Will still be desirable 30 years from now.
Aftermarket support (night and day really)
Not a KIA.

I couldn't buy a car with one of those cheap tablet things slapped on the dash. Everyone is doing it now but man is it horrible looking.

Tablet things?
That is IN the dash. Way better than the one's stuck on top of the dash.

Plus the base stang still has the option to not have a huge screen at all.

Hyundai/Kia is absolutely nothing like the company it was 20 or even 10 years ago. I know several people that would never buy into the brand and it's sort of like Euro car snobs who think anything that isnt German is trash.

I love the way the Stinger looks but there's two reasons I wouldn't buy one. The main and most important reason being no manual transmission. Ive been daily driving manual cars for 11 years and never looked back.

Second reason is that I still do not need a car with more than two doors or two seats. And if I did need a sedan my only choice would be a Chevy SS.

Does Kia's 10 year 100k mile warranty apply to these?

Honestly, if I could get one with a stick I would and just debadge it. I just don't think I can drive an auto day in day out

I would have to put a bag over the front end of it as well. Those bug eyes would drive me crazy.
