Yeah not saying it's a bad idea to try, it isn't, but I could tell you with near certainty that all else being equal, the GT350 manifold will make more power. The 18 should be a bit stronger in the midrange.
i'll be very surprised if the slight top end that the gt350 has shown in some graphs will be enough to overcome that fact that it looses out everywhere else leading to that. That's what my hope is based on at least, we shall see. Fingers crossed you're wrong lol

Ford stated that the bullitt will have a "modified" gt350 intake manifold.

I've seen a few post about installs and some say 3/8 vacuum lines and some say 1/2. Anyone have an idea which is the correct size needed?

I've heard we need 5/8" hose, but I can't get a straight answer from anyone!

I've been told 1/2"

I was going to do mine this weekend but can't because I need to get all the E85 out of my car and I have a full tank of it. I might go grab some hoses though and do some testing of the lines real quick.

Please do so and report back! I'll be installing mine within the next couple of weeks, and all I need is the proper size hose.

As for the E85, just send it. I'm sure it'll burn up quickly, hah.

Seems as tho a shipment of these came in because I ordered one late in the day yesterday from Koons and received and email this morning saying it shipped. Shows to arrive Tues using just the regular shipping and I’m in TX.

Decided to check fittment of the 15-17 engine cover on my broken manifold to see if I could trim something to make it fit.

No dice.. The mounting points are completely different, the studs are too high and the cmcv solenoid would require cutting a huge hole in it.

RIP my pretty hydrodipped cover lol

Member Veefour used to make GT350 intake manifold brackets for the manifold cover but needed to be cut in the back corner for the actuators. Might work if you find GT350 manifold brackets and cut the cover.

What about the rest of the manifold, any cracks or damage. Just looks like your imrc is toast. I got mine today and will have to check it when I get home in the am. Sucks man.

Maybe they might just send you a whole new intake manifold or just the imrc and a discount of some kind. Not sure how Ford parts replaces things.
