No worries here. I'm grateful to be in my Mustang. In about a year maybe I'll put a tune on the car, maybe not. There's so much left for me to explore performance-wise. I already can't get enough traction with my pretty much stock hp.

sadly no amount of flywheel and clutch changes will make up for the MT-82 being a ripe pile. I dont want to move to an auto trans but its getting harder all the time ...sub 4 secs in a Ford with an auto...

currently rocking a 16 shadow black GTPP 6MT 401a
My sentiments exactly. I will be test driving the A10.

I am waiting to see the many test drive car magazine reviews on this new refreshed Mustang. Drag, tack , daily driving etc. The drag package is sweet , but many like the Mustang as a daily driver . The 460 hp mark seems to be just about right . I remember the S197 refresh for the 10 MY. 4.6L 315hp.............We have come along way down the road.:headbang::ford:

Do you think the shift logic/drag strip mode could be added to the 15-17 Mustangs? I know the 10 speed is a diff transmission, but it seems the no drop logic could come over.

Anything is possible , but it is a major part of the refresh. I have to say probably not.

You must read another forum, I can't find any comments in that direction.
Having both cars in a similar range will always be good for the market, so GM and Ford have to push their Limits :)

But you have to admit that under 4 seconds is a very vague number, of course it will have discussions what that actually means. But saying they freak out is a bit exaggerated imho :D

I want to see first hands on from Motor Trend and others how fast the new GT really is, the official numbers are usally pretty much bs (like using a rolling start for a 0-60 time). The EU Mustang GT should run 4.8s from 0-100kph and most cars aren't able to run under 5s at all without mods.

We know that the camaro handles really good on tracks, even is on par with cars like the current M4. I'm waiting to see how fast the new GT with magnetic ride will be on track, accelerating in a straight line is imho not the most important thing.

Maybe Ace is Blaqwhole from C6
Nope, I just think all the Mustang vs Camaro fanboy stuff is like kids fighting if they prefer Playstation or Xbox ;)

Camaro guys. And Ace. Apparently like to over think things. Under 4 seconds is exactly that. Less than four. Unless Motor Trend is driving. Then they'll change out the tires and some how run in the fives.

Dangit. Just purchased my 17' GT not too long ago. Ah well. The 18' should be an absolute beast!
