Please help with my stripe dilemma!

My vote would be for #3. Very nice renders by the way!

My biggest concern regarding either stripes or a black roof is poor water quality causing spots on the vinyl... I'm not sure how well they hold up to water spots. If anyone cares to comment, I'd appreciate it... sorry for the thread-jack!

I’m actually very interested in this too, as well as general maintenance and upkeep. A quick search suggests stripes can be waxed with the car as normal, but I wonder if vinyl is more prone to swirling and whether there’s noticeably more of an ‘orange peel’ effect in reflections.

They were ready-made. The black stripes are 9.5" wide and the pin stripes are 1/2" for a total of 10" per section. I used 1.5" wide masking tape to set the gap between the sections. The material is 3M gloss black.

Thank you to everyone who participate in this thread, I thought I'd resurrect it to show you all my decision and the final result!

I went with option 3, which just so happened to be the most popular vote, which might have influenced my decision a little

I'm really loving my Mustang's new look!
