Evening all,

To confirm, switching modes, WHILE driving, is okay, no?
Example, on a 2018 Mustang GT PP, while in Normal (for example), and wanting to switch to Sport mode (not simply going to S), is that okay?

Even long term, is that okay?
Can't seem to find anything in the manual specific to that.

Thanks

All computer controlled...so I don't see how it could not be ok.

It's fine - no worries. Be aware that steering mode changes in the background, so if you happen to prefer "Comfort" steering when you have selected "Sport" or "Track" driving modes...you will need to select that steering mode discretely.

Ah, thanks for the responses. I guess I need to also set my default Pony to my 'fun' mode. For me, that might be Sport, and Track exhaust. Thus giving me the option to switch on the fly...

After all, every now and then, one has to make some noise, right? :)

Should be tied to performance packs and not the premium IMO

What I don't understand is, with my 2017 GT Premium, I had the save seat/mirror positions (1,2,3) and Shaker system. But, on my 2018 GT Premium Performance Pack, it doesn't have that, or the Shaker system.

Weird...

That stuff came with the Premium Plus trim (401a) with the Safe & Smart package.

Hmm, I could have sworn I had the 401a and the Safe and Smart.
I will have to review the window sticker.

The base models can do the same things, but it takes more than one switch and doesn't have an official "mode" title.

It's all in the manual.
Will have to look into it but was of the understanding that it was part of a package.

Do you have the digital instrument cluster? That is included with 401a.
