This car looks to be more mild mannered. No rear spoiler... no roll bar (can't see it)... but a definite hood bulge. The front fenders are still heavily padded with a slight bulge in the padding just above the wheel arc which IMHO still could be hiding gill slits.

One thing's for sure... I'd rather have a TT than a SC and if this is the Gt500 variant, it has to be the docile version, as I'd think the more track oriented version would have more aggressive cooling fascia up front given the likelihood of FI.

I think that can be forgiven for now. It's still camo'ed up.

If there was any doubt the level of performance that Ford is gunning for with the 2019 GT500-or-whatever-its-called Mustang, the company made it more clear in these latest photos we obtained of the high performance S550 prototype being benchmarked against the Porsche 911 GT3.
I have a new found respect for our moderators lol. ;)

Forget what you see as it has little bearing on what we end up with. I guarantee there'll be a substantial spoiler. How they will top the R version I have no idea.

What lurks beneath the skin is what I'm itching to see.

One piece CF driveshaft?
Aluminum K-member?
Ditching of the TR3160 due to TQ capacity not being up to snuff?
CC rotors in an even larger diameter than that of the GT350?
GenII mag dampers?
An increase in the number of heat exchangers?
Larger diameter axle shafts out back than the GT350?
Simplified front splitter mounting?

I have a good feeling this is for publicity more than anything.
They used the porche 911 gt3 because its more on par with the performance OR ford is telling us, it will beat it. Hey..i'm just sayin....
From all the fellas in the know that have leaked a bit of info here and there....this THING is going to be phenomenal.

Now we're talkin'.

And I am normally not about speculation about specific parts and specs but I can get a handle on this. At least accomplish ONE damn thing please, just ONE: for chrissake start feeding the car lettuce and not cheeseburgers.

From years of no auto (GT500, GT350) to no stick? Seems a bit abrupt but hey, at this point who knows?
