I'm interested in this as well. My understanding, the more mods you have the more E85 is worth it.

I'd like to add another question. Any long term issues running E85 on the 5.0?

The pictures of clogged up fuel filters make me hesitant to try but people seem to be picking up 20+hp.

Not really worth it unless your are using Forced Induction.

we like to see pump mixed in every now and then to clean out the fuel system

Really? I haven't seen that. E85 is clean. I've seen plenty of fuel filters, injectors, and engines after running it for tens of thousands of miles, and everything looks brand new.

This is a dumb comment.

Expect to make 20+ rw over 93 octane, and the benefits of knock resistance due to how cool it burns.

He means swapping back and running a tank or 2 of 91 once in a while. Not mixing the two together.

What the easiest way to do this? Driving until empty and put pump in it? How often should this be done? Every couple thousand miles? The reason I'm asking is I really want to do this and there's a couple e85 stations around my area

Most tuners will give you a tune to drain the tank. You can hook up a setup using a GT500 fuel filter into the fuel line and dump it into a gas jug or bucket. When I swapped to E85, I just ran the tank way way down, filled it up with E85, and just drove it easy until the next tank. I haven't run any pump gas since, don't plan on it any time soon.

How many miles have you been on e85? Is it a daily driver? Are you ever going to put some pump in it like beefcake said? Noticed any butt dyno gains? Your na I assume? Sorry for so many ?s
