Carbon 2 Carbon splitter install

So this was about a month or so ago, but I hit a pot hole and screwed up my splitter so I ordered the carbon 2 carbon R splitter. I had it installed at my local dealer which I got my GT350 and my R from. Neither had issues w/ the OEM splitter install. I'm not sure if this is an issue or just the way the after market splitter sits but it's not flush like OEM. It is, however, the same gap all the way from one side to the other so maybe it's supposed to sit like that? Here's a quick dookie pic.

The tabs are not fully seated. Take it back, or better yet do it yourself. I had the Carbon2Carbon front splitter on my last car and the fitment was spot on. You will need to be sure each tab is seated by applying pressure to the front of the splitter and rear of the bumper at the same time. Here are some pics to show how it should look. It is also easier if you pull the entire bumper.

I've been lazy. I'll have to take it back this week. Thanks for the input. Pics helped a lot too.
