Traded in GT350 for GT350-R

Traded in my 17' Lightning Blue (w/o stripe) GT350 for an 18' (built 10/17) Black (w/white stripe) GT350R 67S (JR0051) last night. I purchased both at Wayne Akers Ford in Lake Worth, Florida, from Joe Z, a very courteous and knowledgeable salesman.

Congratulations on securing a brand new 2018 R model and a very early chassis number at that!!!:clap2::clap2:

I really like the Shadow Black cars no matter if they come with the matte black stripes, blue stripes or the white stripes as the Red pin stripe really sets the car off.

How about some pictures of your outstanding GT350R!

Lastly, does your car have the Electronics Package on it as would think that any cars coming to the deep South would come equipped that way?

Amac8487, I wanted to let you know my order is still not on COTUS. I contacted Ford Performance and was told my order is showing it is "unscheduled - material hold" as of yesterday.

Also, I've seem posts from others that Ford suspends production of 350s in the winter - can anyone have info or can confirm this?

Thanks for the update and keeping me in the loop! Mine does not come up on COTUS at all either.. and have not heard back from my dealer with any new changes or anything. Hopefully they will start production this month or January at least! I never heard about the total suspension of building in the winter.. let’s hope not!!!!

I will keep you posted as well if I hear anything new

Got an update on mine, it sat in "Awaiting Shipment" for over a month, it is now IN TRANSIT!!!!

Ordered on August 29th.

Any update on your order? Mine is still showing up as a 2018 Expidition on cotus lol

I have all the documents showing the order was placed... so I think it’s just a glitch in the system or something. I contacted my dealer and he said he will look into it after the holidays...
