Aftermarket cooler kits are going to sell like hotcakes for tech package GT350's.
True, finished the install on mine about 2-weeks ago. Going to the track this weekend for many laps at 8250rpm! Less expensive then replacing and painting the front bumper of an '18.

In all seriousness I like what they did with the '18, namely lower hood line and magnetic shocks but I just can't get past those sharp edges and upturned chin spoiler. I would seriously consider the '18 for a daily but would replace the bumper as it's an easy mod.

So,.....what does this mean?!?!

Performance Notes:
  • The GT Performance Pack with MagneRide should be faster than the 2012-2013 Mustang Boss 302.

Faster than the 2012/2013 Mustang Boss 302 in the quarter mile or road track?

Just speculating but I would think road course since thats what the boss was really intended for.

I seem to distinctly remember Pericak saying the exact same thing about the 2015 GT PP...

A 2015 GTPP is faster than a 2013 Boss 302. Terry Fair ran them back to back, same track, same day. GTPP was over 2 seconds a lap faster.

As I understand it, today was the last day to order 2017's in Canada. And Ford still hasn't released the cost, hp and tq no's for the 2018:frusty::frusty::frusty:

I don't mind waiting. This is most likely the engine and gearbox combination for the s650 GT so Ford need to get it right.
Or use the refresh to implement it and work out the kinks so its tweaked for the S650. Just sayin

2018 F-150:
The 5.0-liter V-8 gets both port and direct injection instead of just port injection, upping hp by 10 to 395 and torque by 13 lb-ft to 400. It also gets spray-in bore liners from the Mustang Shelby GT350, and is now offered with the 10-speed.

Hmmm, so I'm guessing the gains will be around the same or slightly better for the Mustang? 445-450 hp and around 415 lb/ft then? If so there's gonna be some disappointed people on here lol.

Seems like an insignificant increase. Maybe the truck 5.0 is tuned more to maximize whatever fuel economy it can manage to compete with GM.

Well since the 2018 F-150 was debuted at the same show as the Mustang and will only be arriving on dealer lots slightly earlier, I'm really hoping we get official order guides and specs very soon for the Mustang.
