Next up I decided to take some weight off the front, removed the heavy 20” velgens and went with a 17x4.5 Forgestar skinny. Was rewarded with a new personal best...10.63 at 128.xx

Next up Lund did a little trans tuning along with a green Gates belt and a turbosmart blowoff valve and headed back to the track along with my buddy in his LSA supercharged Chevy SS. Achieved a new PB of 10.58 at 131.xx!

Next step after running the stock procharger belt for a year I decided to scrap it for a Gates green belt and swapped the Proflo BOV for a turbosmart 50mm BOV, car picked up a little airflow and boost, did some tune tweaks and were once again rewarded with a new PB...

Decided it was time to match wheels. Picked up a set of 18x10 Forgestar F14s in matte black. They were like 7lbs lighter than the 10x10 saleen wheel.

Wasnt truly happy with 17s up front and 18s out back so I sold the rear 18s to a buddy that wanted them and went with a 17x9.5 F14 with 305/45-17 MT S/S

Looking good!!! But why not 17x10.5?
I asked for 17x10s but somehow 9.5s were sent out. I looked and it was still within the tires specs so I decided to keep them. Less weight lol

Since I was not willing to gut my interior for the sake of performance, I decided to pick up Baer drag brakes being that I dont have a PP car. Honestly with good fluid I feel like Im not giving anything up as far as day to day brake performance...

Savings for the rear setup was about 34lbs and front weight savings was 64-65lbs per my scale.

Basically

Stock rears - 60lbs

Baer rears- 26lbs

Stock fronts- 90lbs

Baer fronts- 26lbs
