VP mean Variable Prototype. PP means Pre-Production. VP cars had the right look but some parts on the interior were a little off and the one we saw with a popped hood just had a regular GT motor under the hood. Next were TT (Tooling trial) cars, those had everything right including the engine. Then came the Pre-Production cars which are all correct and will be used as press vehicles, for promo uses, etc. This may be a dumb question, but I've seen both PP and VP numbers. What do those mean?
Yes, and I'm curious as to the numbering sequence. I'm assuming 4 digits, i.e. 0001...…..9999. Just curious, cus I have nothing else to think about this week.....Good information. I guess that means the one I receive will just have the number without the letters prefixed.
Will all of those be crushed/destroyed by Ford after the production Bullitts are out in the wild?VP mean Variable Prototype. PP means Pre-Production. I honestly don't know exactly, but from what I've read in the past VP cars are crushed, TT I think usually are too, but the PP cars seem to end up surviving in many cases. Will all of those be crushed/destroyed by Ford after the production Bullitts are out in the wild?
