Cool! Looks like Sterling Silver. And also the last of the classic shovel nose and round headlights before the '77 slant-nosed facelift.... I'm always a Pontiac enthusiast. First car I purchased on my own in the late 80's was a 1970 GTO.... owned it for 13 yrs. Yours is very nice!

Very nice !! Turns out I tried to buy one that year, but as a recent grad I could not swing the money at the time. I bet there are few, or none, of those over there, so it is a very special ride. Thanks for the pix.

Awesome car. Need pics of the dash... Does yours have the machined-steel gauge surround? Always loved those. (...and slightly bummed that the Performance Pack Mustangs get a similar dash but the GT350s don't. :( )

An uncle has a '78 gold special edition that he ordered new, still under 30K miles. He ordered all the toys: t-tops, W72, WS6, 4-speed. Love that car, I remember it being the coolest thing in the world as a kid when he got it.

Nice. Brings me back to my 74 Formula 455. White on white. Got totalled by a douche in a Cadoo blowing a stop sign.
Looked just like this with the wavy fiberglass hood and all.

My first car was a 1971 Firebird Formula with the 455 and turbo 400 ........

I still have it in my barn .......... used to take my girlfriend out in it at the time

must of liked it cause we were married in it ........
