Interesting ... looks like another option to the Livernois Magnuson kit for those like me that don't want to upgrade other drivetrain components pushing 650hp+.

Post up a link and did you install yourself?

Very Nice!

Plenty of room to grow with our 2.3L TVS when you are ready.

It’s a nice S/C but the price is too much when you can get a Vortech/Procharger a lot less. I like it but not for the price. I think that’s a major problem in selling more of these kits.

I'm not sure why you would compare price against centrifugal blowers, that makes no sense. Of course the centrifugal blowers are cheaper, they almost always are.

Edelbrock's TVS is priced comparable to other TVS options (Roush, VMP) and less than Whipple's twin screw.

Been waiting on results on their 15865 kits. Seems like the only info I have found is from BrenSpeed.

Was comparing what is on the Edelbrock site versus your pull. They publish 690/588 which I'm assuming is at the crank. You got 546/462 which is a 21% drivetrain loss.

Edelbrock Tech will you all be updating your website with some information on the 2650 rotors?

Because Edelbrok is not a name people will normally go to for a S/C. plus it’s easier to get more out of the centrifugal blowers when it comes to price point on these units. Just throwing it out there that they aren’t making sales cause of these factors

The current R2650 Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits we offer are purposely under driven to match performance of our 2300 Stage 1 and Stage 2 kits. As a result, power numbers with our provided calibration are very similar between the 2300 and 2650 rotors. This was done mainly for warranty coverage and to stay within the bounds of our CARB EO.

However...The 2650 rotors give you more room to grow if a custom combination and custom tuning is desired.

NMRA Edelbrock Racer Miles Wagoner teamed up with Triangle Speed Shop and turned our Stage 2 2650 kit into a 9 second ET capable monster! They used our optional 8-Rib Belt Drive kit PN 15879 and converted the car to run on E85.

The results were an astonishing 787whp and 700wtq on about 17psi. This is on a stock 2015 long block with billet oil pump gears so they stopped there.

The car ran a 9.88 @ 139 during testing. With some suspension tweaks they feel the car will perform even better.

This new 2650 is an absolute torque monster. That said, we are working on an exciting new feature that will further enhance the capability of Eaton's latest technology and our S550 supercharger systems. But...more on that later ;)

“Exciting new feature” c’mon dude you gotta give us more than that. Some of us are in the middle of deciding what to get!

Well that’s some very interesting info and yea that’s some crazy nice numbers. That info will definitely be a positive for those wanting to get more out of these kits.

IMO the best looking kit for a 15-17 s550.

A few things to note:

 • Looks like they dyno'd you in 3rd gear rather than 4th which will show a lower hp/tq reading
 • Looks like they gave you an uncorrected dyno sheet, not very good for comparison
Run it at the track and have fun, I'm sure its fun to drive no matter how you cut it.
