It's possible........and I agree I wasn't convinced that was a FPC engine in the videos. However, the GT4 isn't street legal, so why would they have been testing it on the street?

:)
I live in that area. They were going down Woodward ave for a stop in at the local checkers drive in.

I think the GT350 will remain for at least a couple more years.

There has to be a GT500 to compete against the ZL1.

Yes, I've read that. There is no way of knowing what the car was testing. My guess is a GT350 with revised front end to go along with the 2018+ mid cycle refresh. But thats just my guess based on the order guide and my feeling. Hope I'm wrong and it is a GT500 but I wouldn't be sad to see the 350 continued a couple more years. Its just such a good overall package and I don't think there is any car on the market that comes close to what the 350 is at the 60k price point.

I'm prepared to be pleasantly surprised if the GT500 comes out for 2018. I really hope they keep making more Voodoo engines, though. I really love mine, and I want to be able to find a good used GT350 at a reasonable price after I wear mine out.

With the ZL1's hitting the showroom soon, ford has no choice but to bring out the GT500. They can offer a mach1 @the same time with some 350 candy.

I pray the GT350 dies off for 2017.
Why? So the value of the GT350 stays high? Look at the Boss 302, they were only a 2 year run and you can buy one in the mid $20k range now. Mustangs simply do not hold their value, even the special editions. With that being said, the 350R will probably hold its value well because of the exclusivity, but I doubt it will actually appreciate from its MSRP price over the next several years or so.

Also, isn't it ironic for someone with such a heavily modified car to be worried about value? Even if you put it back to stock, if someone (i.e. anyone on this forum) knew the mods that were on your car, they would likely pass on your car if they were looking for a used GT350.
