My car is an automatic. Went to the track last night. First time since I had the car two years I had tire hop. And it was bad. Since I did the GT350 manifold/LU47/Lund flex retune my car pulls noticeably harder. Before the swap I could run street tires and times were consistently around 12.4 @ 114.5 mph. Did one conservative run with drag radials since the swap and improved to 12.2 @ 116.1 mph. I felt there was more left on the table with a better launch. Last night did a hard launch with street tires and tire hop was bad with tires lowered to 25 psi. I let off and cruised the track. Also I have a Steeda alignment lock out with IRS stabilizer bars. Guess my street tire runs are over. Was also wondering if it could have been track prep that caused this too.
