I'm currently running 275/40/17 Hoosier drag radials. I have a 13 GT with the GT performance package so I have 3.73 gears and a M6. I have a tune, CAI and a Roush axle back. I ran a best of 12.52 @ 110.63 with a 1.81 60' time leaving at 2,000 rpms. DA was about 450. I hit the rev limiter near the end of the track and my car takes a nose dive every time. (I have these DRs from my 15 GT PP that I sold last May because it had the vibration)

I want to go to a 15" rim. A 275/60/15 DR is 28" tall and a 295/65/15 DR is 30" tall....which one would be better??

Thanks, Mark

Not sure what your rev limiter is set at , but a 28 inch tire should give you room for about 7-8 mph. I would not go 30 .

You need a slick, not a radial.

My rev limiter is set at 7,000.

With a 28 tire you should be good for 118 mph at 7000 according to my calculator.
