With the right bits under your car you will crush that 60'
I'm new to drag racing, N/A MT (3.55) running 1.6-1.7 60s from a 5k sidestep. It almost stalls from the dead hook
Unleash the potential mate :headbang:

BK081 Or BK055?
Either, or.

Most people are going to the lower cost BK081s now that we have released them.

I use the BK055 on the 1000+hp racecar as it is the absolute best design on the market, and I use the BK081 on the daily driver.

Check it out.

CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit
BK081 RLCA Bearing Upgrade
Viking Shocks (B358AM)

Set the shocks at 6C / 10R

Set the Hoosiers on 17s to 13psi pre burnout.

Launch from 4500-4800 with a quick clutch slip.

That should be low 1.5's or high 1.4s all day long.

Atleast is it is in my direct experience.

;)
Link to Viking shocks on your website? Searching B358AM doesn't find anything.

Also will the Viking shocks work ok with Steeda linear ultralight springs?

Those parts will allow you to achieve better traction.

Results do vary, but that is why BMR is so popular and successful - we assist you in achieving your goals after the sale.

I have direct experience with this topic, so I can tell you that if you do not run well into the 1.50s I would be HIGHLY surprised.
Hey man .
I need some help too -sent you pm.
Have BMR catalog in back .
I am running 15 inch rear(weld 15x9) and front wheels with Baer brakes .
Viking warriors in the rear and Koni's upfront -full loose or one rev from
full loose .
I went to a 26" from a 28"(ET bias ply) cause my first gear is too tall (2.66 Magnum XL) for now with my 3.31 rear (going to swap in a 4.10 pumpkin)
KB car car is making mid to high 900's at the tire .
28 inch tire hooks/bogs with 1.6 range 60 ft but spin city with 26".
Best so far has been with 6C 8R but still spun with a 1.54 60 ft .
I tried following Viking instructions and increased R to 15.
Much worse as spins on the line with 2 step at 4500 with pre burn out pressure at 14-15.I am afraid of more sway if I go lower as car is already all over the place even with 15 skinnies upfront .
I was told car squats so hard rim is on the ground so went back to 8C and 8R.
I was able to leave the line again -but still spinning with mid 1.5 again.
In need 1.4x to run that 9.8(been 10.0@145)
I have called it quits with the 26" and going back to 28" as hope to have 4.10 pumpkin this week for last stab next weekend .
Tips ?
I was going to leave shocks at 8 C /8 R but will the 6C /10 R you suggest with the 17 wheels /28 " work as well with 15 wheels/28 "?
