I ran my first 2015 GT PP in summer in Texas and rolled a 12.9@112. This was fairly repeatable, street tires aren't drag tires but the mph looks good and the time too. I think I cut a 2.1 60' back with that car. I haven't run my 2015 convertible GT with the whipple but don't know if I will since they'll probably require a roll cage and helmet.

When I was stock I ran 8.43 in the 1/8th my first trip and then in late October when the DAs where better (~800) I ran an 8.19. Air down your rear tires to about 25 psi to help with traction a bit. I got 1.93 60ft time like that. Those are good times stock. Getting more practice will help you get even better. Have fun!

Bought an SCT X4 and got a new best with the SCT 93 canned tune. Car is still stock other than a UPR oil separator.

Thanks for the real world comparisons. My PP car has run the same 12.9 - 13.0 stock, when I launch it right. I've been curious what the SCT canned tune would do by itself. Looks like a notable upgrade since I already have the tuner sitting around.

I was excited to get a 12.9 (with my M/T) a couple months ago... and I have a tune. I cannot launch a stick shift car for the life of me and that time, for me, was a miracle. Not to mention my road course alignment...

So a 12.9 baseline -- just fine, just fine. Nicely done. Although, I know a couple people who got a 12.8 "baseline" with their stick shift cars, stock, no tune, stock tires... ;)

I def felt a power increase with the canned tune and the track times supported the butt dyno lol Also, no knock retard in the logs so far so it's a pretty safe tune.

There are some threads floating around that compared the SCT canned tune to a Lund. The Lund was 7hp higher on a stock + intake car.

There is def more in the tune for sure. Not bad for a canned tune though.

I'd really like to see them. By chance do you have a link?

wildcatgoal I get it. I've had a decent amount of track time with other cars in the past (dragstrip) but this one seems to be more difficult to launch and the 373 rear gear means I have to shift to 5th before the end of the 1/4. (Full disclosure, I haven't had this one on the strip much so maybe it's me.)

It's much harder to get a reasonable time than my previous 12 GT. That car was a 331 rear, brembo, manual car that would click off 13.0s if I messed up, 12.8s were almost "easy".

ypena02 thanks for the added feedback, especially the no knock comment.

**Note, that dyno compares astock intake with SCT canned tune, to a JLT intake with Lund custom tune.

Im running the canne 93oct tune and it feels a bit stronger for sure. No track times or logs as of yet. I want to compare the airflow numbers from my stock run to stock+tune.
