I agree. On the '01, the "GT" front fender badges could have been left off, and the "Bullitt" script on the rear would have been sufficient.

I think the wheels on this test mule are the Bullitt wheels as they stick to the Bullitt formula of gray/black spokes with bright metal lip. Also, these wheels spied aren't pictured as an officially released wheel for the 2018s and aren't wheels that have ever been seen or used before, leading to the conclusion that they're wheels for a new special edition Bullitt model.

I'm still holding my breath waiting for the GT500 surprise launch.

basically GT350 styling, magneride shocks, FI engine with 700hp+-, and 10 speed auto. This would be a beast.... maybe even an EcoBeast.

So today, I emailed my salesman, that I bought my 17 from and asked him, "when can I order a 2018 Bullitt? His response....."September"

Interestinggggg. I know a lot of dealers are full of crap but hey I welcome a new rumor about the Bullitt. :lol:
IF this is true, I'm guessing they're just going to reveal it online sometime randomly since the LA Auto Show isn't till November. Did he provide any other info?

I want to believe this, I really do..............but I don't think dealers even know exactly when you can order a standard '18 :(

Don't you hate it when you go to the dealer and you know way more about the car and options than the salesperson does !!??? :lol:

Already over for the press, today was the main reveal day. Ford had no press conference anyway. Unless they pull another Detroit stunt and reveal it on a random public day of the show.

Any news on the Bullitt?? Seems like we had lots of hype and then nothing

One person that seems to be in the know has been hinting recently that a Bullitt may be coming eventually, but that's about it. I mentioned in the general 2018 thread that the Guard color is making a comeback for the 2018 F-150. Since we already know it won't be offered on the 2018 Mustang, maybe it was left out on purpose so as to not overlap a Highland Green. Lots of spitballing but still nothing concrete. Sadly, I suspect we won't hear anything for many more months still.

Hell, just make your own Bullitt car, that's what McQueen did.

Get the right color green, the right wheels, and remove the badging. Ain't hard, and it would be yours.
