Why so many people hating on Shelby? They pour tons of resources into the Mustang which can only benefit us on how certain add on look and perform.

I like the spoiler! Is this spoiler something that we could buy now?
I would think so since Ford would need to stock replacement parts, though who knows about availability for a while?

This type of thing is what excites me the most, because I'm not buying a Shelby. There is the one-piece driveshaft, a rear spoiler, hood, and other things we can adapt to our cars.

The messed up part is...18k only gives you PP and cosmetics! The real performance stuff is extra. Makes the gt350 trackpack look cheap...

it's about time it doesn't look like ass.

digging this new one over the other one with that ugly grille. still wouldn't pick it over an rs3 though or a gt350 for that kind of money...or better yet pick it over a self built gt

Horsepower, come get your horsepower! 21 extra horses for 18000.00 dollars! Get'em while they're hot! You get some special badges too!
*We will need your EOM parts also.

What a complete waste of money. $18,000 for a few grand worth of parts. No thank you. I'll take the real deal GT350 for that kind of money.

Someone said this yesterday, and I agree and think it again applies here...

Ford makes these cars so good now from the factory that it's very difficult for any Mustang specific after market company (Shelby American, Roush, Saleen) to really improve it.

What they many times end up doing is going over the top with bumpers, hoods, etc and maybe slap on a supercharger. The aftermarket is such now (especially for Mustangs) that any one of us can basically do the same thing with a local shop or even the local Ford dealer.

I appreciate that SA and those other guys exist, but to be completely honest, I'm not really impressed with any of their offerings this last several years.

I think the 2008/2009 Shelby Super Snake was one of Shelby's last impressive efforts - where the car was shipped to Vegas and outfitted with the Supersnake stuff and about 40 extra hp. It was subtle and people knew it was a little extra special.

The 2005-2009 Saleen S281 was also very nice and I think their last decent offering.

Their design department needs to call me. I could really turn them on to what would sell like hotcakes.

That is just plain lazy. Nearly every part is off the shelf.

I really like Shelby, but this is what they should have done for the GT. This is basically a re-do because nobody cared! They also missed a huge opportunity with the Terralinga. That could have been an ecoboost car with 50 extra horse and torques in yellow livery. They just dont have these products placed very well in the lineup at this point...

I pretty much always liked the looks of the Shelby cars, and this one isn't bad either. But h*ll, I have a good amount more horsepower, and the suspension parts I put on mine are at the very least equal, if not better, than this thing has and I didn't pay anywhere near $18,000 for all of it. Not being a Shelby hater, but I'm just not feelin' it.
