Well, pretty much as the topic says. It seems that when I slow to a stop, it holds 2nd gear *maybe* a little longer than it should.
Just before I come to a complete stop, then it shifts down to 1. It's not overly harsh or anything, but it is definitely noticeable, and you sometimes hear a kind of "clack" when it does.
It almost feels like going from N to D, except maybe slightly more abrupt.
Car only has about 4,600 miles on it. Is this something that I should be concerned about - as the warranty is nearing the 3 year end - or is this normal for the transmission and thus harmless?
(I'd also had a concern about what seems to be an excessively long delay when shifting from R to D, but, if this thread is any indication, that delay is normal for both the A6 and the A10).
