The next mustang is in design studio right now, it will be if nothing else a complete top hat change if it stays on s550.
We need The Rock to pay a visit with his film crew......who knows what goodies might "leak" out

They should focus on their other best selling lines and updating those cars to sell more and allow them funding to develop a mustang on a whole new lighter platform. i wouldn't mind if this gen lasted til 2026

That's a good analogy......although the '10MY refresh also had significant suspension tweaks (I was amazed how smoothly the '10 GT rode compared to my '05 GT

I bought a base 16 GT and enjoyed modding the platform more than my 14 Cyclone 3-link.
It's cheaper to mod, the subframe at least. Complete new "Top hat" would be fine with me.
