Has anyone wrapped (or replaced) the yellow circled parts with Alacantara? I just picked up a Mustang and feel that these hard, scratchy plastic parts are a bit of a let down.

I actually ended up wrapping my dash (4 pieces in totally), along with my A and C pillars. I wrapped them in Micro Suede. I can't tell the difference from actually suede. I'll Post pictures later today! First time posting to the site but figured I could offer help in places.

I'll post so pictures now. I just used 3M 90 spray. Was like 20 at Home Depot. The material itself cost around 50 dollars. Great feel, has alittle give to it when wrapping.

Edit: anyone know the best way to upload pictures? Can't do it from the phone I guess

Then once you upload the photos there, copy the image address. Then use the yellow "insert image" icon here next to the globe icon.

I'm new to this but damn I made it harder than it was to upload these pictures lol.

Let meh know what ya think. Tried to go with a red theme as you can tell. Most of my stitching is painted red.

I bought another set of the A and C pillars along with a whole new dash set (four items, all brushed aluminum) to wrap with this black microsuede. I didn't get any pictures really of the install the first time around but if enough people want ill do it this time.

Thanks!

In order to use the IMG tag, you'll want the direct image link for each one. Or you can just put the link here for people to click.

Looks interesting though, not sure I like the suede characteristics on the panels there though. Any difficulty in getting it to stick on the panels with no issues?

Any pictures of the DIY process?

Thanks

Hopefully these pictures work

Damn, sorry guys! trying to just get the photo to size to just upload it but I'm the best when it comes to computers some time. hopefully these work

EDIT: FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO POST PICUTRES.... lol

I just scuffed up the panels I was wrapping to help the glue and material stick. Took roughly five hours to do all 8 items.
