Hello All,

So I am inquiring about a pedal accessory.

Not sure exactly what's it called.

I saw on someone's build (can't remember who now and can't seem to find the thread) that they had these black billet after market pedals.

I think I found the place that sells them online.

But, there was one additional accessory.

A Food rest (not the dead pedal) or heel rest, not sure what its called but it sat on top of the carpet right below the pedals to rest your feet/heels on.

It looked like it was made of the same material as the pedals.

Does anyone know what that part is called?

Thanks

No, that's not it.

This particular piece actually sat on the floormat of where you would actually rest your feet or heels while driving.

I thought it was a good idea since it would keep your heels from digging into your floormat over time.

I know what your talking about. It's something like ____ plate. A skid plate, heel plate or something like that.

@NVR

Thanks, that is what I was looking for.

Also thanks to everyone else for their input.

Greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking that this style will absolutely destroy the heels of your shoes.

Ah, I see. I should have followed that link.

Seems like a good idea if they aren't slick. If they are too aggressive they chew through shoes quickly. I have motorcycle pedals that eat anything less than boots in a couple rides.

It might just be cheaper to buy a back up mat.
