Dealer discount on a special order? Am I getting screwed?
Probably, from what I understand you should be able to get the same sort of deal whether it is regular dealer inventory or a special order. Only difference is the dealer knows the car is exactly what you want instead of you taking what they've already arranged for. So they can take advantage of your emotional connection to the car and charge you more :)

Picked up my Oxford white pp2 today, ordered on 12/16. Got it with the 401a, lightning blue stitching, active exhaust, enhanced security, and safe & smart. Didn’t take many pics.

Interestingly I tried the build and price and if you go Premium the PP2 now requires 401A also. I know the base always required 301A but I don't think that 401A was required originally.

Why are the aftermarket front splitters requiring the extra two braces on them while the Pp2 doesn’t.

Extra stability? Maybe they weight more or stick out farther?

Here's another angle on that silver one from earlier on in this thread.
This picture makes the rear look like it has a wide body, not sure if its just the angle or color, but looks super good

I came here to post about the Crimson one and how good it looked, but you know what..? The PPII looks amazing in any color... The blue, the white... Ford hit it out of the park with this combo. Those wheels are absolutely amazing. So is the front splitter and rear spoiler.

Other than the Cervini grille and some lowering springs, I can't think of anything else I'd even do to it!

My PP2 is in transit as of yesterday. Says 25 days out, I can't imagine it will take that long to travel from Michigan to AZ, I hope anyways...

What's the VIN on that one?

I had the same thought. I suppose it could be a preproduction model on display at HQ.

Pretty sure that's the one. Ordered 2/21/2018. I can't imagine a dealer order vs a special order would make any difference.

Honestly, I think it was initially an error on Ford's part since they have always upcharged for leather Recaros. It was recently changed on the configuator to charge for cloth also. It was just a matter of time. MY19 order guide also shows the upcharge for cloth and requires PP2 to even order them.
I think it was an error as well. I also recall cloth Recaros being an up-charge on the base 2015 GTs.
