Well its official. I have a total man crush on Epiphany. He has taken the time to develop these stainless steel brake caliper studs. As most of us know the current brake caliper setup is a bolt through caliper type that can wear the aluminum threads after repeated changes. Epiphany has developed these in stainless steel and some other 4340 scientific space age stuff. If you have more questions about getting a set or his CAD/Solidworks design definitely send him a PM. At the moment I have more parts than time, so for now I will leave these tease shots.

I recently got to know Epiphany better and the package showed up like a brick of cocaine :D . What was inside was much better. These come with instructions written by Epiphany and everything you need to get them on.

I notice it's blue Loctite, red should be illegal or require a license to buy, lol.

I have my set waiting to install. Hopefully this weekend will give me some free time to get it taken care of

I got mine on a couple of months ago when I did a pad swap. This is top quality hardware that makes pad swaps super swift and easy. Also, the stock caliper bolts will undoubtedly get tired over time with pad changes. I certainly recommend hooking up with Epiphany to grab a set.

Epiphany asked for feedback on the stud kit installation and I'm just getting around to providing something. His directions and the quality of the hardware was great (I got the 4340 studs). I use antiseize cmpd on the stud at the register diameter and torque the nuts to 110lb-ft with Blue Loctite. Working like a charm!

Good to hear. You'll really appreciate them come pad changing time.

There has been discussion on RL of an aluminum upright failure at a caliper bolt on a heavily tracked Porsche. Adding caliper studs appears to be to recommended solution (Caliperfexion business opportunity, perhaps). Question: Does the GT350 upright have inserts for the caliper bolts? TIA

Inserts? If you mean steel inserts pressed in, no. Aluminum threads... :(

Thanks, I thought there might be helical coil inserts there.
