Where are all the quality European header and exhaust options for the s550? I've been waiting for some of the more well known to make those products.
Soryy, but I gotta ask;

What? What "quality European" companies do you mean?

Don't forget - the code for turning off that STUPID panic button.....SOOOOOO happy to be able to make that go away.....
So we are talking about the same thing...do you have the Module and code for that function?

Thanks.

Any shot of adjusting the control of a convertible top so that you can roll (slowly) and drop or raise the top?

A few more to add to the spreadsheet:

A. Disable the Active Noise Cancellation

(ACM)
727-01-01 xxxx xXxx xxxx

Change that value at X... it is probably currently an A or 2 (or whatever value). Subtract 2 from it... If it is an A make it a 8, if it is an 2 make it a 0, etc...

Fake Engine Sound should go away pending it is a digital version of it and not physical tubes on your engine heading to the interior.

B. Allow All Alternate DRL Options (Restrictions Removed - No Invalid Configuration Errors)

BdyCM (As-Built Modifications)

Allow All DRL Choices:
726-45-01: xxxx 7Fxx xxxx

Enabled DRL Selection:
726-50-01: XXxx

XX:

01 = Disabled / Parking Lights Only (See change below)
02 = Low Beams
04 = Front Fog Lamps
08 = Front Turn Lamps
10 = Dedicated DRL Lights (LED Light Bars/Strips) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs - C2280F Pins 36 (Right) and 40 (Left)
20 = High Beams
40 = Low Beams and Dedicated DRL Lights

Optional: Enable DRL Parking Lights:
Can be combined with other DRL options above
726-26-02: x1xx xxxx xxxx

Optional: Disable DRL Switchback w/Turn Signal:
726-26-02: xxx0 xxxx xxxx

On/Off for these is controlled from the Instrument Cluster DRL Control.

C. Control DRLs in IPC

Body Control Module (BCM):
726-16-02 x1x1 x1x1 x1xx - Enables control via IPC
726-21-01 xxxx xxxx x1xx - Enables control via IPC
726-50-01 04xx - Enables fog lights as DRL (the only choice possible on our cars)

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC):
720-02-01 xxCx xxxx xxxx - Enables the DRL setting in the lighting menu. This is tricky. If you already have an "8" there then you change this to a "C" otherwise add 4 if you don't have the menu already

Note: DRL will only come on when you set your transmission to "Drive" if you have an auto or when you disengage your e-brake if you have a manual.

This mod does not affect the "fins" lights at all. By default the U.S. cars have the fog DRL disabled and Canadian cars enabled but without IPC control.

D. Lock doors on motion

BCM:

Enable: 726-15-01 x1x1 x1x1 x1

Disable: 726-15-01 x2x2 x2x2 x2

E. Driver's seatbelt reminder

720-01-01 xxxx xx6x xxxx (seatbelt reminder on - default)
xxxx xx2x xxxx (seatbelt reminder off)

I really don't think this is the right way to describe it, converting A or 2 from hex to bin (A=1010, 2=0010) you can see the second lowest bit is 1, and subtracting 2 from those makes that bit 0, which makes sense to turn something off. But if you have other values say 9 or 5 (9=1001, 5=0101), subtracting 2 from those will turn that bit to 1 and essentially turning on the feature. I would suggest anyone that is trying to modify these numbers get a basic idea of hex and binary numbers and how they transform, since it's the bits that is actually controlling the settings, just convert your original hex number into binary, identify the bit you need to change, change it accordingly and convert it back to hex, that is the right way of doing this.

Well this is how it is done. There is even a whole thread on that, where there is a bunch of people that have used this method. I did it a while ago and it works perfectly.

The fact that something works some or most times doesn't mean it will work all the time and without unintended consequences. It's true that if the 2nd bit from the right was originally on then subtracting 2 will turn it off. But if the second bit was already off, subtracting 2 WILL change other bits.

...but if the 2^1 bit is the controlling bit and the feature is enabled the value will be 2,3,6,7,A,B,E, or F

0,1,4,5,8,9,C, or D mean the feature is already disabled.

Exactly.

It doesn't work some or most of the times. This feature is described in detail in the main As-built thread and the How to disable the Active Noise Cancellation thread. Both below:

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61773

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78455
Yep, we know all that, but that's actually what scares me, people would just follow instructions without questioning what's going on behind the scene. What's more is if it doesn't work, they'll start guessing random stuff and blaming people for their own ignorance. Changing stuff you don't fully understand is a dangerous job, and people should know that and try to do their own research before actually making changes.

Yes, but the original post says, and I'm quoting "A or 2 (or whatever value)", and that is just wrong... you need to know what your original value means and make changes accordingly, not just blindly subtract 2 from the value and hope it works and doesn't have any side effects.

So here's an example of people don't know what they're doing giving out instructions, and people don't even question about it, it is from a mazda forum.

Background story, the newer mazda infotainment disables the ability to connect to wifi. So people dug through the config and found this line:
// Wi-fi is not available in Japan and NorthAmerica region
if((region != (framework.localize.REGIONS['NorthAmerica']) && (region != (framework.localize.REGIONS['Japan']))))
So they said, right just change the "NorthAmerica" to "Japan", and it will be fine, and they also specified "MUST KEEP THE ORIGINAL TWO CHECKS OR OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK". So now the line looks like this
if((region != (framework.localize.REGIONS['Japan']) && (region != (framework.localize.REGIONS['Japan']))))
But clearly anyone who has some basically programming knowledge can see that you can simple remove the first check, since the two checks are doing the exact same thing, and you don't need to confirm it twice.

Source: http://mazda3revolution.com/forums/...714-infotainment-project-258.html#post1442746, download the zip file and you'll see what they have in it (the syssettingsApp.js file). On another note, they're doing things even more dangerous over there, since they provide scripts you can put in USB drives and plug it in the car and does all the tweaks for you, this reminds me of the old days where people just pass around floppy disks and dump them in their own computers without checking if what's in there is actually some virus.
