I have them on my boosted car. they survived the one track day I went this year. my transmission however did not. I don't think I'd trust them on drag radials, but on bias ply tires (which I have) they didn't instantly snap. Not a lot of data for you, but it's hard to find a lot on them.Just wondering if anyone has upgraded to GT350 axles and abused them at the track yet? If they hold up decent enough I might try a set to save some cash but figured if others are breaking them easily enough then I will stay away!

:lol:I think stock GT half shafts have been into the 9's reliably.
On an auto car, sure. I'm shooting for 10's on stock half shafts in a manual, we will see...I think stock GT half shafts have been into the 9's reliably.
Still no issues here. Held up fine when I was manual, then after the autoswap still doing fine.Bringing this back. I live oversees so i looking to save some money. Any update on the 350 axles?
Isn't the weak point on the stock GT the drivers side? I have a set, just never got the time to install them. Will do so over winter or next spring. The GT350 axles are only an upgrade to the driver side. They are identical on the passenger side. Not really much of an upgrade
Yes it is the weakpoint of the two.Isn't the weak point on the stock GT the drivers side? I have a set, just never got the time to install them. Will do so over winter or next spring.
I have still yet to hear any GT350 snapping their shafts, albeit GT350s are less likely to be drag raced. So there's that.
That's a great idea.I’m holding out to see what the new GT500 comes with for half shafts...
