Actually makes sense, i always thought it was strange that they had the new model hit dealers late fall early winter rather then mid to late summer. I think they are cutting 18s short so they can get on a better schedule and hopefully now the 19, 20, 21 MY will run summer to spring rather than fall to summer.

Nice, hopefully this means the Bullitts will be arriving spring or early summer.

Wonder if they will bother with any changes from 18 to 19 since it's such a short run.

Now I am wondering if it means the Bullitt would be a 2019 model year car, especially if they are being timed to arrive for sale closer to the 50th anniversary month of October, 2018?

I prefer 2018 of course!

It's definitely possible, especially since I've heard rumors of it possibly being a 2019, which never made sense to me until now. If 2019s don't start being built till mid-June that means best case scenario is a late July delivery which is already halfway through summer essentially. I still think MY2018 is more likely to make sure not to step on the Mach 1's toes.

If there is a Mach1 I'd expect to have seen some more leaking about it. There was also no mention of a possible Mach1 motor on the "leaked" 2020 Ford oil chart. Unless it's using just a regular 5.0(not really worth it IMO if that is the case) or one of the 5.2's(possible).

I think the most likely case is if the GT500 really is use a CPC 5.2 then the Mach1 may get an NA version of that motor, but nothing has really pointed to that yet. We haven't seven seen a mule around yet but we have seen, PP2, GT500, Ranger, Bronco and Ranger Raptor mules.

This sucks. I wish the 2018 model year would've had this production schedule. thePill you were sooooo wrong.
The Pill is never right about anything, he exclusively speculates out of his ass and uses data out of context to sound more informed.

I wonder if prices, packages or colors will change at all. I hope they don't get rid of Kona.

I wonder if this will cause 2018 prices to drop even faster?

That's true about the oil chart. If it is in fact a MY2020 oil chart then it's still possible the Mach 1 is a 1-model-year-only car for MY2019. There were those mules labeled as Mach 1s over the past couple years, but maybe those were just PP2 packages. I'm pulling for you Mach 1 fans

Oh no. Now the people who got a 2018 will have to trade in for a 2019!
