This is so true. I just installed Steeda Progressive Springs, pics coming, and now I want to add the Camber kit.... In which, I would have only added about 5 additional minutes if I realized it.. Now it will be rewind time...
I'm looking at vertical links next, that I'll do the rest of the Mods that require an alignment and probably just take it down to Pompano Beach for a couple of days.

With the Steeda springs on base model struts is a proper alignment possible?

I used to have a 350Z and anything lower than 3/4 an inch required camber arms to get a proper alignment!

We've been able to properly align a base model post-install of our springs.

So before I get these installing should align the car and that's it?

What are the chamber plates for?

I know it makes the alignment easier and more flexible to get the right setup...but I am also wondering the same thing if I am only dropping it an inch? Also, there are others talking about no other parts needed which is great! BUT, to prolong the life of the springs/suspension if I am just lowering the car (no aftermarket shocks/struts), are there any components I could buy like bushing, etc. to help? If it's a low cost part, may as well get it.

I am hoping to install the back springs myself, but I will not attempt the front springs with the compression...so I'm hoping to save some cash on the installment by doing the easier half.

I had the Progressives installed yesterday, took the tech f o r e v e r! But patience is a virtue as they say...The drop is puurfect IMO! Not too low but definitely gives the car "the look" I wanted. I had an opportunity to see just how the Springs perform this morning, the roads I take to work are winding, curvy, hilly, an enthusiast's dream. The car now handles like it should have from the factory, I couldn't be more pleased.

Thnx David & Todd...

Get the billet sway bar mounts, too. You won't be disappointed.

Installed mine last week. Steeda progressive springs, IRS subframe bushings and alignment bushings. Took me all day. Front was easier than the rear. I used a clam type spring compressor from Harbour Freight. Best $60 I spent.

The car feels much firmer. Less nose diving during breaking and tail squatting when accelerating. I am very happy with these springs.

Here is a picture with 1" spacers.
