Broke half shaft on the street (street tire)

I'm confused on how this happened. Didn't even switch into second gear. Hit it in first on a 20 roll a little wheel hop and boom. This happened right after I put my lowering springs on. I have BMR craddle lockout bmr links and eibach pro kit lowering springs. With the stock halfshafts. Imy taking the links off. Maybe to much stiffness in the rear?? Never had a problem with it breaking a halfshaft until I put the springs on. I'm not taking them off just gonna take off the links. What do u think. This has really thrown me for a loop. I've herd of the track but not the street. It broke at the end closest to the tire. Driverside. Can't afford to upgrade right now looking for a stock driverside halfshaft

You can purchase stock ones used for dirt cheap.

My buddy broke one drag racing and got replaced under warranty.

Nitto invos. I just noticed my driverside differential bushings is a little worn out vs the passenger. I guess after I get a halfshaft that's my next mod

So what happens after the shaft snaps...is the car drivable or does it need tow?

Stuck on the side of the highway. If u put the car in gear u can hear the halfshaft Rolling around. It broke towards the tire

i broke mine at the track on drag radials. It broke near the Diff. I would guess you weakened the shaft previously and it finally went.
