Depends on what you're after as far as performance. If you drive a manual, then a short throw shifter is a huge improvement. MGW, Steeda Tri-Ax or even a Barton would be a nice upgrade for you. An exhaust is great on many levels (performance, butt-dyno, sound, etc.). And when it comes to suspension, there's huge room for improvement over stock.

Manual or auto=Tune, drag radials, headers.
Manual=Suspension mods to eliminate wheel hop.
Automatic=High stall converter.

bang for your buck? A blower...

If just just want bolt ons, I think Longtubes and a tune will pick up a nice bit of HP

I tired the Eibach springs first and didn't like the feel of them. The build quality of them didn't impress much. Most of the powder coat was flaking off before I finished the installation. Then I was recommended the Steeda springs and I'm glad I went that route. You're gonna have choices when it comes to suspension. BMR is another good company, but as far as price and quality, you can't go wrong with Steeda.

Thanks a lot. Would sway bars also be a viable option?
Definitely. I would start with trying to eliminate the wheel hop and really putting your power to the ground. Then move onto sway bars to handle the corners. I was pretty content after adding the bushing supports, IRS brace, toe links and vertical links. And I heavily recommend the alignment kit. It's cheap and and it'll make sure your subframe is aligned.

The sky's the limit with these cars. Just focus on what's important to you and in what order. If unsure of something, do a little research so you're more confident in your purchases and less likely to have buyer's remorse. Everyone will throw around opinions, but in the end, it's your car.

The Steeda Clutch assist spring for MTs. Don't know how Ford can think the way too soft stock clutch is fine :paddle:

See Eddie's first sentence in post #2.

But since you're working with a non-PP GT, start with tires and wheels chosen to suit what you yourself are seeking, which could easily be more/wider/better than what the PP comes equipped with.

Everything you do after that suspension-wise is to keep them - and you - happy for the driving that you're going to be doing. Do you see yourself autocrossing or running laps at NJMP? Running at Atco or E-town? There are no choices that will best fit all of those different activities at the same time.
