I'm planning on selling my 2012 Mustang V6 and getting a new Mustang GT, I know 2017 Mustang will be out in few months but I read some articles on the internet that Ford is redesigning 2018 Mustang front fascia & bumping up the horsepower, is it true ? If it is then should I wait for the 2018 model ?
Please let me know your thoughts.

You can wait forever, there will always be something better coming. I'd just buy a 16

I would either get a 2016 with the 0% interest deal they have going on now or order a 2017. It is true that there is new things coming for for 2018...4g lte connectivity and a 10speed auto...perhaps a redesign, but expect a price increase because the LTE services is expected to come with a prepaid subscription and passed on to the customer.

There will always be something better down the road. Don't waste your life away "waiting" for whats best. If you are happy with whats available - then by golly go get one.

Yes, a facelifted model is expected for the '18MY.

Personally, I'd wait 12 months (possibly less if it's shown at Detroit next January) to see what it looks like and get a feel for the upgrades it comes with. If you like what you see, be one of the first with an '18.

If not, I'm sure there will be some nice incentives to get you into one of the last '17s :)

I'm in the same boat you are OP. I plan on getting a 2017 or 2018, but I'm almost leaning towards 2017 for a few reasons:

1. Grabber Blue, (wife's car is a blue Jeep Renegade, we'd match!)
2. Most upgrades done on a mid cycle refresh can be done aftermarket minus the visual ones.
3. Probably won't see a new engine till 2020. The 2018 may be tuned a bit more to increase the horsepower which again you can already do with aftermarket.

It still may be worth waiting just to see what is offered in the 2018 model before pulling the trigger on one. I think that is what I will do with the suggestion above. If I don't see much of a value or dislike the look of the refresh, I'll go with a Lightning or Grabber Blue 2017 GT Premium.

Well now with the S650 coming in 2020, why not just wait for it? If you don't like it I'm sure they'd be clearing out the 19's

Where are you seeing zero percent financing for 2016 Mustangs? Is it a regional thing? .9% for 36 months is the lowest in AZ.

Ford is offering 0% for 60 months and 1.99% for 72 months. It's not regional as it is from Ford Motor. You can probably find lower rates at local credit unions. I found 1.64% for 72 months from Mission Federal here in San Diego. Should be hard opening an account in another state. There might be something lower, I dont know.

Not here in Illinois. 60 month is 2.9%.

I'll ask again. Where are you seeing 0% for 2016 Mustangs (link, screen print, ???)? The only 0% I've seen are for other models, not 2016 Mustangs. Hope I'm wrong.
