Super Lap Battle 2017 - Buttonwillow

Our GT350 at Buttonwillow. Basically stock except these mods: R replica wing, OEM R splitter, R sized P6GR wheels, 305/325 Eagle F1 R3 tires (OEM ZL1 1LE), crash bolts.. oh and the most important mod, Sonny driving it.

Wow...... :eyebulge: :clap2: Last time I was there I did a 2:08 in my basically stock 2016 GT. I'm just hoping to break 2:00 someday with all my current and future mods.

Great time, in an amazing car. How are those tires grip wise compared to the good 200TW tires (rs4, re71r, rival s). Either way 305/325 is a lot of meat!!!

Did you consider going to 285 width and go into street class?

Also what are crash bolts?

Seem to be a step up in grip/pace, more comparable to Michelin PSC2.

We did consider it, but did not have proper wheels on hand to do so.

Alignment correction bolts. Allow (very) small camber corrections at the knuckle/strut interface.
