This is where the hose will go, just put it in temporarily. The small part I cut out earlier allows a perfect path for the hose.

Sub'd.... Very interesting. Can't decide whether I want to go homebrew or just buy the JLT kit

So out of curiosity - do you have a need for additional cooling ? Did you experienced fade ?

I have not tracked the car yet but will be in July. Pacific Raceways is very hard on brakes and cooling will be beneficial. I have seen cars loose their brakes there and the consequences don't end well at that track.

Going to change out the OEM pads, or is that the point of the cool project? :clap2:

Also, were you going to make kits for people? Multiple revenue streams ftw! :D

Thinking about the design from what I can surmise, one pretty sweet thing I'm sure obvious / known to most, unless I'm incorrect... :D
The ram-air effect up front will be greatly complimented by the heating of the exiting air. Is the tubing somewhat insulating as well?

cheers, J

It is just a rubber hose with the spiral wire, but fairly heavy duty.

I think the splitter will cause more front end pressure above it so it might help force more air through the ports.

I will be getting a different set of pads shortly.

What kind of splitter are you using, got pix?

What pads?

Want to make a few more sets? Sounds like there is interest :D :first:
