Do we know how effective these are? Yes I know the GT4 hood is similar but isn't that hood lower?

Yes, very effective. It's recommended to run a sealed air box or CAI due to the negative underhood pressure created. This also will improve down force at speed. Obviously the benefit of improved airflow through the radiator/coolers because the air has a place to go.

I have noticed slightly lower intake temps (-1 deg) while driving, slower to climb when stopped, cools down faster when you start moving again. You can visually see the heat dissipation when stopped. I can only assume it has better aero effects as the car seems to hold speed longer when you let off the gas. I have only had it on the streets so far, so obviously any positive or negative aero effects have not been seen. The lead edge of the vent it placed 15.5" off the lead edge of the hood, so it sits right behind the radiator shroud.

I need this cause of hood lift at speed on track and especially when you get in traffic at speed. My hood buffets around terribly when approaching a slower car on track.

I don't visit this forum for 5 days and I miss this! Very nice. I was looking to buy a second hood to do just this.

Yes Sir, once they are in full production we will be stocking them on the East Coast/FLA. to keep transit times down/costs down. It's expected to be a few weeks once they are ramped up and then we get them on the shelf.

Count me in! I already have the smaller ones.

that is correct. I started installing the rivets from rhe front back. I will have to drill the rivets out and try from the back forward. Maybe, it will look better.
