This is kind of a slow forum to begin with as it's limited to one generation of a platform. Corvette forums probably draw more than just corvette owners to be honest. I doubt we could say the same for 6g mustangs. None the less, I'd love to track my car. I am trying to figure out which SCCA class favors it the most and then take some HPDE stuff. Of course, that's not even close to the same class as the IMSA Continental stuff.
If you're talking road racing it's likely T2, that's where the Camaro SS is classed. But for HPDE, just go do it. I ran my car bone stock first time out to baseline it and the car performed very well indeed. Just don't try to go 10/10ths for more than a lap or two at a time. But it'll go all day at 85-90%. It is a very capable car, even on the stock PP tires and wheels it's a ball of fun on a track.
