Im out if it doesnt have a manual transmission available. GT350 doesnt do it for me. The FPC engine seems like a gimmick to me. Especially since the new CPC Aluminator A52XS can rev to 8k, makes more peak power, and has a broader power band.
The power the A52 made was on race gas (therefore race tune), long tube headers and a CJ Intake manifold (won’t fit under the hood of the 350).

That said, a FPC with race tune/gas and long tubes with that Intake will make as much power and more.

The A52 also has 0.5 more compression. Can add the same mahle pistons to the 350 also for a bit more juice.

Fixed right there. The GT500 WON’T outperform the Demon at the drag strip.
I don’t know. Maybe but only pro drivers get the top times. The GT500 is rumored to have some lightweight goodies.

At Sema the Ford display showed 93 octane was producing 585Hp in the crate engine. Full headers no emission nannies. Adjustsble engine mounts will fit the GT350 intake.

On the ford performance website it states,

580 hp
Custom calibration required
Headers not included
Premium non leaded required

Can't find if that 580hp was 93 or if it was something else.

My wishlist.
#1 it puts the zl1 1le in it's place, which is behind it
#2 it does not have problems on the track

Don't care about the demon, i can build a fox body that will out run that for cheap. And yes i get that the demon is a production strip racer blah blah dont really care. I bet it will still be a close race and put a turn in that race and its over anyway. The hellcat won't really matter either.

Disclosure, i love the quarter mile. Love it. But that porker one trick pony doesn't do it for me.

You’re right I looked at my Sema photos and it states 101 octane. They may have told the crowd at the conference it would run on 93 but that was 3 years ago and don’t remember everything from the show. Probably 550 on 93 octane which is still awesome for N/A power.

550 NA is still fantastic. Also it has 12:1 CR just like the voodoo, I thought 12.5:1.

The NA cobrajet has 12.5:1 CR.
