GT500TT, I expect a thread on that thing too. It's gonna be awesome.

(And, technically, a REAL Shelby.... ;) )

Ok, I'm locking myself out of this site for 5 days. NOTHING NEW TO REPORT and it only frustrates me more! The Gt350 I looked at sold - I couldn't buy it knowing this is coming but man this wait is killing me

Basically, The only way that “Venom kills demons” could apply is if Demons were real; he wasn’t talking about the GT500 and Demon in specific hahaha

Of course he was...........but he wants to keep his job

What we CAN learn from this, is just how seriously Ford takes leaks/rumors from their employees. Mr Owens is pretty high up the food chain, so if even he can get his knuckles rapped, you know Ford take secrecy seriously.

With the "Venom Kills Demons" I remember the "BEST POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO ON ANY PRODUCTION CAR" (Ford GT) which happened to be just "meh... fine".

I was expecting a best power to weight ratio than the Koenigsegg One:1

I still don't know how the GT is so heavy. It's only about 400 lbs lighter than my '14 GT Mustang.

I mean, it's 3 foot high and all carbon fiber. And it's got a V6.

?? Apples to apples.

720S is 3128. 225lbs lighter than the GT, with a V8 on top.

The GT is already using its “lightweight” model, when Mclaren releases the LT or special edition for the 720, could another 75-100lbs off.

The Ford GT weighs about 3050lbs. A 918 weighs 3600lbs+. The Ford GT is faster or matches (depending on track) that of a 918. Additionally, people seem to get wrapped up in the "V6" engine when the reality is that a twin turbo V6 engine installation in the GT weighs about the same as a V8 if not more.

A 14 Mustang GT premium tips the scales north of 300lbs. so the GT is 700lbs+ lighter:lol:
