Canadian dealer starts taking deposit

Got a call. Dealer started taking deposit. No info on the car whatsoever as yet, but I am already the third person to put down $5,000 in good faith. The first one being the owner of the dealership.

I'm in Vancouver and I have my deposit in as of last week.

So, the GT500 will only be sold in Canada !

No deposit needed with my dealer. I'm first in line but I may back out, it all depends on what the car offers.

No deposit here either. First in line for what ever that will do. As long as they don't make the thing rare as hens teeth!

the R version that is said to be coming, will be tough to get for at least the first year or so. Here in the states anyway, but that depends if its allocated similar to the 350R, or if its just a optional package.

My agreement is for the R if it is available and the first allocation. I've had my deposit in for some time now at a very large dealer that got 3 R's each year since the '16MY. I'll start getting serious about the whole thing when it is officially announced or there is something more than a bunch of people dealing in pure speculation.

Cars are a little more difficult to be had in Canada.
