2017/2018 Mach 1 Mustang Mule?

That would be awesome for the Mach 1 to be brought back. Since it would be a '18, when do you guys think they would show it to the public?

The sweet spot for a 2018 Mach 1 or other special Mustang would be either the Detroit auto show in January of 2017 or New York in April of 2017.

No reason to increase the displacement makes no sense since that means less power. If the spy reports are right about the beefed up rear diff I would say my opinion makes more sense unless it is a supercharged version of the 5.0, which I doubt for a Mach 1 that needs the functional hood scoop.

There are a lot of reasons why going to 5.4L on a Coyote would be a bad idea. Piston speed, rod angle, etc...

5.2L is the sweet spot for a durable, fuel efficient and production capable Coyote variant.

You do know gt500 are 5.4? Shelby used 5.4 in almost all his applications... You do know MMR built a 3000hp motor the average built 5.4 is 1000-2200hp motors!

You would laugh at some of the Frankenstein cars the manufacturers roll around while in development.

Working in that field, I have seen foxbody mustangs with SN front ends grafted for modular motor testing. They get pretty sneaky.

The 5.4 was based on a different platform and block.

Wut? or Watt?

Watts links are to keep a solid axle from moving side to side instead of a panhard bar or other arrangement that cause the axle to move laterally whenever it moves up or down. So they make sense on your 2011.

The S550s have independent rear suspension and a non moving diff.

I don't see anything like a Watts link on that car.

It's a IRS, not a SRA.
