Stripes day!

Dual wide matte-black with a copper flake pinstripe. From BigWormGraphix and fitted by a company here in NL (who do really nice work).

Whilst there, took the opportunity to have the rear spoiler wrapped in carbon along the silver GT badge and also tinted out the orange reflectors on the front lights.

Well, the cars finished. As is the 350 diffuser :D

Car before/during/after

Before...:

post rust proof, pulled dent, welded, grinded etc.

Pre clear. Needed to blend into door, lower sill, and the top of window, so all of that's been resprayed as well.

Hi there

So gone from this today:

It was a good looking car but for me I disliked the gloss black wheels and red calipers, as such I've changed both to a colour combination which suits me better. I also did small details like changing the wheel nuts from chrome to black and the wheel centre caps from red to black/chrome.

Really happy with the result, cocked up a little on the logo as did not centre it perfectly which was a bit of a boo boo, but once the wheel was on the car cannot really tell. For now left rears blank with no logo at all, might add something or may just not bother. Was hoping to just add "SVR" to them but can only find "R" logos.

Also when I joined the M1 this morning I got flashed twice, assuming a camera but upon looking down I was only doing 78mph so seems they have cranked up the sensitivity, shall see if I get a summons as the overhead gantries were not illuminated. :(

Also polished to remove swirls from the carbon parts and added a protective ceramic coating. All that is left now is a paint correction on the painted body parts and seal. Also trip their I averaged 31mpg for whole 150 miles and return journey was a door to door average of 35mpg which I am impressed by as there was quite some heavy traffic so parked on motorway. 300 miles and still just over a quarter of tank left, not bad for 600HP near as dammit. :)

P.S. Posted in here as thought not a Mustang, a fellow Mustang owner did all this work for me who many of you know as Andy Parsons from various meets and he specialises in detailing nice cars and painting calipers. Enjoy and see some of you soon at an upcoming Mustang meet as yes I will be on the stand in a Jaaaag. ;)

The next stage of ShepsNASCAR5.0 continues apace. :headbang: Mufflers removed and the pipes are angled down away from the car. Nascar style tips are ordered to sit just behind the rear wheel below the valance. The tone is now far better without the boxes and decibel levels are god knows what now.

Gibbo205 there was something on my Facebook feed yesterday from a news paper, saying that the M1’s cameras are now active all the time (even if no limit is shown on the gantries) and that limits were going to be “enforced”. I guess it’s a 14day waiting game :(

Car looks the business!

They come on tomorrow for the derbyside smart motorway @ 70. However, it's impossible to assume all cars speedos are correct (both pos and negative) so really it's about 75-78 limit. Regardless, going over it, you're fucked.

I detailed my diffuser today, sealant, detail spray, wax yada yada yada.
I also finally cleaned the stang, no pictures of either. But diffuser goes on tomorrow so i'll get a shot of that.

Chuffed to bits with this. Thank you (and i also hate you...) 666mac for putting this idea into my head and being the enabler of this. :D!

350 diffuser in race red and gloss black with satin black exhaust tips, fitted with a custom fabricated MF muffler with Y pipe, whilst i was at it I also tinted the reverse light.

The install was relativley easy, and nothing too complicated, a few 7mm bolts and it was off (and on).

Here's some shots (no that's not me holding the diffuser, that's dad, i took the picture instead)

and shots of it in the day:

and some shots with the tips in/ work at tip top exhausts
