Our 18x11" ET52 and 19x11" ET52 both fit up front with up to a 25mm spacer (sometimes less depending on dampers). This allows you to run a well-supported 305 section width tire for maximum feedback and performance. https://www.apexraceparts.com/shop-by-vehicle/ford.html

This GT350 is running 19x11" at all four corners, and has flush fitment as you can see.

Hi Cory; great to hear from a manufacturer/supplier.

Do you have any images of your wheels in 19x11 on s550’s without the extra wide front fender of the the GT350?

Also, the damper I would be running would be AFE’s Featherlight Coilover system; is this a damper you could speak to regarding clearance the and spacers necessary to clear? Could I go smaller than 25mm?

I seem to have heard a few diff answers here regarding spacer sizes (25mm, 20mm, 12mm, 10mm). I am set on the AFE’s and my coils and 19x11 +50-+52 on the wheels. I want to us the Michelin PS4’s in 305/30/19. Does anyone know indefinitely what the smallest spacer size I can go with is? I know this will depend on camber, but I’m hoping to get some suggestions. Car will most likely be set up ~-1.5 for daily use. Also, will I def have to get plates to do this?

This car is on 18x11" ET52 with 305/35-18 NT01s with a 25mm spacer.

This car has 18x11" ET52 as well, but with a 315/30-18 R888R and 25mm spacer.

Finally this car has 18x11" ET52 with the same 305 NT01 mentioned above, this time with a 30mm spacer to clear the factory struts. He's since gone to the AFE Coilovers and said he could likely drop down to a 20mm, but hasn't confirmed or done so just yet.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the 19x11" ET52 on a non-GT350. The one posted above is a great example however. There will be no difference in poke or width between the 18s and 19s.

You will definitely want camber plates up front. Not just for the idea to get the tire more tucked under, but to make sure you don't destroy the outer edges of the tire while on track. I would recommend at least -3* with our 11" wide wheels for optimal performance. I cannot give you a definitive answer on spacer sizing as there are a lot of variables, but I think you should start with a 20mm given your desired combo. We do carry a complete sets of JRZ coilovers for S197 and S550s with Hyperco Springs and Ground Control Camber Plates if you're still trying to decide :)

When you say for safety, is that due to the length or strength of the extended studs?

If I’m used 20mm spacers, would 1/2 longer still work or would I need 3’ (assuming those are not the same).

I want to run the smallest possible studs and spacers as I don’t want it to look funny.
I got 3" ARP extended studs and had them milled to my preferred length. $60 for milling. Don't skimp on the stuff that keeps you alive.

Yep.

Extended studs + spacers is much better than adapters. You're not creating another set of joints and you're putting all the tensile load holding the wheel directly on back to the hub itself, which limits bending loads on the studs (for hubcentric wheel).

Well said. Studs are for tensile (stretchy) and not for shear (bendy) loads. Properly clamped together with the right torque...your hub and wheel (and spacer if you want) are mechanically a single unit. All the shear loads are on your hub and wheel...not the studs. Adaptors change all that.

How do you like the NT01s? Have you used Toyo R888r?
If so, how do they compare?

The Nitto NT01s are the first "sticky tire" I've ever used. They're certainly grippier than road/summer tires. Feedback is nice. I'm sure there are faster tires out there. My NT01s have been lasting a good while now, so that's frankly what I care about most above being the absolute fastest in HPDE. Frankly to me they're more of a safety measure at this point, since I've hit the limit on road/summer tires for the most part.

Yea, I think longevity is important too.
Do the NT01s have squeal indicators built in?

Totally unrelated but wanted to say thanks to a couple of you lads MtnBiker, BmacIL, ApexRaceParts for some of this information. I was just cruising the forums reading random posts over a couple cups of coffee and really appreciate the information on the studs, spacer, and how they work together. Assuming vs. having it simply explained is priceless. Apex - for sharing those pictures of the cars on the track. Pretty cool looking.

Anyway - learned something new today so thanks guys for sharing.
