Jay was a "car guy" in the 90's, now he starting to just be an "old man that likes cars".

My grandpa is the same way. He used to know lots about cars and building/repairing them. Now he's still in the mindset that things haven't progressed much since the 80's, so having things that were options in that time as standard, or out dated now, just isn't in his mindset.

You're the one that does it enough that people find need to ask.

I wish I was as much of a car guy as Jay Leno.....that toy shop.......errr, garage of his is one of the best there is.
He is living every gear heads fantasy.

Due to family, I can't relocate to CA - but if I could, I'd try to work for him just for the fun of it. I'd send a letter every day.

Old or not.

There's a second piece of video from the entire Jay Leno item now on Facebook. In here he makes a few errors with regard to the history of the old car, like it having the original 50 year old tires, it having been in a barn for 40 years, not having been repainted and the steering wheel being original. He obviously did not read the extensive history reports on the car on Hagerty's and Brad Bowling's websites. But hey the guy is a legend, really friendly for someone of his celebrity status and people like watching his shows.
