Heres my question. If my car is delivered after the rebate expires Im SOL correct? Order is being put in tomorrow.

Wait. there's a $1,000 retail offer and a $1,500 cash purchase offer. Are these mutually exclusive?

Edit: Nevermind, they have the same offer code (#13152). Wonder why this is shown in two different places on the site and for two different amounts.

My local dealership still hasn't received any 2018 MY Mustangs, just F150's! Dang!

Rebates are typically valid when you take delivery of the car at that point unless you make some kind of agreement.

I was coming up on the last month of my $750 private cash with Ford when my 2017 delivered. My dealership was clear that the rebates would be current for the month that it delivers. May was a great month!

Can you still get this incentive if you place an order through X plan ?

What incentive? The private cash ones I've seen specifically say can not be used with X, A, etc plans.

The incentives from Ford you can see on their web site CAN be used with x plan unless they say otherwise and I haven't seen one that excluded it.

Any dealer incentives can not be used with x plan since the plan dictates the exact price the dealer must use (before Ford incentives), but if they are better than the x plan, just take them instead of x plan.

Things can change but the last I checked, Ford had a procedure that allowed a dealer to protect the rebate at time of customer order. When the car arrived, the customer could choose between the incentives at order time or delivery time (but not anything in between). But I believe the dealer has to do something while the original incentive is still active to let that happen.

If I ordered in December add will take delivery in March, and the dealer said they will honor all rebates at that time, should I try to get them to lock in the January rebate, in case this rebate is not there in March?

Yes, but it's available through April 2, 2018.
